Delicious Tuna Salad without
extra fat in Arabic Pita Bread!
Prefer tuna in water and
add extra virgin olive oil, chopped vegetables, pickled cucumber. You will have
a very tasty snack!
Ingredients
2 large fine Arabic pita
bread
2 tender leaves of lettuce
or salad or radish
2 tablespoons ketchup
(optional)
4 large toothpicks
Salad
1 can of tuna in water,
drained (185g)
2 pickled cucumbers chopped
½ fresh tomato, without
seeds, finely chopped
1 small dry onion, finely
chopped
1 tablespoon parsley,
chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon mustard
1 tablespoon spicy ketchup
½ teaspoon dried oregano
Freshly ground pepper
Instructions
Lay pita bread on a try. Cover with salad leaves and sprinkle with a tablespoon of ketchup.
Spread half of tuna salad on one side of pita and roll carefully.
Fill second pita bread in
the same way.
