This home-made Pizza is healthy, tasty, easy to make and one of our favorite snacks with simple and delicious ingredients and crunchy crusts.
For the Dough
1 cup warm water
½ tea spoon sugar
⅛ cup olive oil
1 heaping tea spoon active dry yeast
½ tsp. salt
3 to 3 ¼ cups of all purpose flour
For the Topping
¼ cup olive oil
2 large onions, thinly sliced to your liking shape
2 large tomatoes, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
2 table spoons dry Greek oregano
Salt and ground pepper
For finishing: extra-virgin olive oil
1.Dissolve the yeast in a cup of lukewarm water. Slowly add the flour, salt and pepper. Knead gradually, adding a little warm water and work well to get homogeneous and soft dough. Cover dough with a towel and leave in a warm place to double.
2.Grease a round baking pan with olive oil.
Put the dough and press with your palms to flatten and fill the whole pan.
3.Arrange on top onions, green pepper and chopped tomatoes. Sprinkle surface with salt, pepper, oregano and olive oil.
4.Bake at 180C degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
5.Remove from the oven, slice to your liking and serve warm.
